QRG - Early Key Return/Early Move Out

This QRG will cover how to use 'Notes' field in CRM IQ Resident record to indicate Early Key Return

What: This new step will allow us to better track the impact of early move outs on finances and turn times.

Who: Site Teams will manage the entry in CRM IQ and ultimately the Service Teams will be positively impacted by the results.

Why: Previously there was no way to record if the resident turned in keys early in a reportable field. The data from this field will be pulled into CORE so we can accurately track the frequency and disruption of early moveouts.

How: When a resident turns in keys prior to the scheduled move out date it can now be recorded in CRM IQ.

In the resident record, go to General > Lease Info > Other Info, and then scroll down to the 'Notes' field. Follow the screenshots below.

In the occurrence of an early move out please follow the Centerspace procedure for a normal early move out, then add the additional step of completing the 'Notes' field with 'xx/xx/xxxx-Keys turned in early'.

Please be sure that the 'Keys turned in early' portion is spelled correctly as this will be part of an automated process. The date will be used in another way to calculate the # of days.
