QRG – CRM IQ – Generating a Mid-Term Lease
If there is a change to the lease, a mid-term lease is generated to have documentation that matches the updated charges.
Before the mid-term lease is generated, the following documents/processes must be complete:
- Household Addition or Release (add or remove member/s or lease holder/s)
- Pet/Animal Changes (add/remove pets)
- Rentable Item Changes (add/remove garage, parking, storage, or premium parking charge)
- Team Member Discount (add/remove discount)
1. Before generating the mid-term lease agreement, add an effective date to be reflected on the document. Navigate to the resident profile > Profile > Custom Tables > Additional Resident Info > Lease Info Effective Date. Click Save.
2. To generate the mid-term lease agreement, on the resident profile > Documents > Signature Documents >Select Add Documents > select RentCafe E-Sign from Library.
3. Click Select for the Midterm Lease Change Agreement.
4. Confirm the people who need to sign the document. Click Save & Next.
5. Review the lease agreement and addendums for accuracy. If no changes are needed, click Send.
6. A pop-up will appear confirming the document is sent.
7. Document Tracking shows the status.
8. The Document Dashboard also shows the status under Resident Documents > Get Signature.
