Centerspace provides team members an opportunity to indicate their interest in open positions and advance within the company according to their skills and experience. In general, notices of job opportunities are posted, although Centerspace reserves its discretionary right to not post a particular opening.
Job opportunities will be posted via the internal Careers website and normally remain open for a minimum of three (3) days. Each job opportunity notice will include the job title, location, job summary, essential duties, and qualifications including required skills and abilities.
Team members should contact the Talent Acquisition team within the Talent & Culture department for information on how to apply for an open opportunity.
Centerspace recognizes the benefit of developmental experiences and encourages team members to discuss their career plans with their manager. Managers are encouraged to support team members’ efforts to gain experience and advance within the company.
An applicant’s manager may be contacted to verify performance, skills, and attendance. Any staffing limitations or other circumstances that might affect a prospective transfer may also be discussed. A team member should have completed one year in their current position at Centerspace prior to applying for an internal opening in another department.
Posting opportunities on our Careers website is one way to inform team members of open opportunities and to identify qualified and interested applicants who might not otherwise be known to the hiring manager. Other recruiting sources may also be used to identify candidates qualified to fill open positions.
