Centerspace offers a wide range of benefits to eligible team members. Several programs (such as Social Security, workers’ compensation insurance, and unemployment insurance) cover all team members as required by law. Some benefit programs are fully paid by Centerspace, and others require contributions from the team member. In addition, Centerspace provides leave for certain activities, such as donating bone marrow or serving as a volunteer emergency responder, as required under state and local laws. Questions about specific benefits can be directed to the Talent & Culture department.
Benefits eligibility is dependent upon a variety of factors, including team member employment classification. Details of specific benefits programs can be found elsewhere in this handbook, the Team Member Benefits Guide, or the benefit program Summary Plan Description.
Benefit enrollment must occur within 30 days of a qualified life event, including new hire. Centerspace reserves the right to recoup missed premiums due to delayed enrollment within the 30-day deadline, over no more than 2 pay periods.
